Smash Lord
I had a quick search and didn't see anything that looked too similar to this thread... if I'm wrong then go ahead and lock this.
Now to the point; with Brawl so close in Japan and US, the game is likely to go gold very soon. The site updates havn't shown me what I'd hoped as far as online goes, and I'm pretty worried about a few things.
Nintendo have dubbed the Wii a "family console" yet as far as we know, you only get 1 Brawl Code, rather than Mii codes. Nothing has been confirmed yet but it says to me "only 1 online profile" and that's possibly my biggest worry, since what about all your siblings or family members? Does only 1 person get to go online on the family Wii?
My next worry is having more than 1 player from the same Wii going online. We pretty much all knew by now (and the adverts confirm it) that Team Battle will be user + guest vs user + guest, but what about in free for all friend battles? Will it just be limited to 1 player per Wii? For instance, you want to battle 3 members of the forum in Brawl, but 2 of them are siblings. They're still different people, but for some reason Nintendo have made it so you can't fight both of them because they made such a simple error and didn't include the option.
I know it's possible and probably quite simple, since other online games do it, and SSB games only come once every 5 years (seems like that will be the pattern) so how can Nintendo afford to make mistakes now after online gaming has really been going for half a generation already, and is incredibly prominent now.
I let myself get a bit too angry about this the other day, and nothing has been confirmed, still I won't get my hopes up for them to be crushed.
My question is, do you agree with these worries, or do you have worries of your own?[/essay]
