I did something like this in middle school, except it wasn't so...Jesus-y. I can't say with any certainty at all that it belongs in the Light House, seeing as it's not a video game and all.

Well it was under a different name, Roman Catholic Challenge RCC. I was the Unofficial Leader so to say.
70% of the questions asked where answered by me. you need a quick finger and a sharp mind to pass it. Looking back i think now i know where i got my Video game Trigger Finger.
I don't do that any more, well mostly because Religion classin highschool becomes a Social status debate, and i usually start it

I believe the Bible Bowl is something in the Bible Belt. Only they would come up with something like this.

It's the fact that it's indoctrinating kids to learn trivia from the bible as opposed to historical trivia, which is actually relevant and useful.
I have a friend who was home schooled by his father who's a pastor. ALL his subjects from History to Science had a Christian leaning. Now, he can't accept that the United States was founded by humanist secularists and deists who believed in a distant god, or that evolution exists. It's a scary, scary thing.

Looking back I don't know why I spent 5 hours studying each night for it. It was fun while it lasted but then some thing in my brain Snapped in 7th grade . Ohh well the only GOOD thing I really got out of it was a quick reflexes and a game trigger finger, which coincidentally is the main thing for Wii FPS. Even the buzzer Button had the same placement as the A button on the Wiimote(A button Iron sights lulz).
But for us it was School Rivalry in a form. We just didn't do just the Bible so i guess the RCC was a different form that didn't make us study the bible. We did some history stuff as well, like who was the first Roman Catholic President? Or what year did Pope John Paul II become Pope, or what the heck does INRI(or in English letters JNKJ) stand for.

In my point of view, I see that anything that has to do with God(that is POSITIVE), especially Bible Bible Bowl, is more beneficial than anything else in the world.
And CK, I read your thread about why you don't believe in God anymore, and I must say it's a sad story. But, why do you seem to hate Chrisitanity now?
