So like… Today I was driving back home from my shop after helping out and getting something to eat. I was on a duel carriageway where the speed limit is 40mph. As it was not long till the carriageway was coming to an end I moved to the right lane (as the left one takes you to a motorway) where I noticed all other cars behind me started hovering to the left. I checked in front to see if there were some barriers blocking the lane that I didn’t notice but no, there were none.

It was then that I noticed another car shooting behind me like a rocket. I was approaching the end of the carriageway so I didn’t bother to move over to the left lane and stayed at my own speed; so the driver of that car started to tailgate me.

As intimidating that this driver was (I could hear his fart cannon exhaust pipe and the loud bass inside his car even with my own music on, that’s how hilariously close he was) and being the ******* that I am, I rolled the window down and gave the driver my middle finger. I must have annoyed him (“U MAD” moment?) ‘cause now he’s turned on his full headlamp beams at me making it practically impossible for me to view my rear view mirror. This time I made a hand gesture at him (I called him a ****er) and thus now lead to the back of my car nearly getting kissed by the bonnet of his.

We’ve made it to the end of the carriageway and into a somewhat busy road. I’ve moved over aside for a moment to let him pass in front, afterwards he braked.

…Road rage moment?

I don’t know what’s up with this driver but he braked hard for a split second that could’ve caused an accident. Luckily I was within to the 2 second rule (onlyafooltobrakesthe2secondrule) to react on time to not hit him which (Thankfully other motorists were far behind me) we then stopped at a set of traffic lights.

The door of that car opened. It was a grown middle aged man.

He was shouting at me. All I heard was noise. (I can’t hear anything obviously, my windows are now closed and to hell am I opening them to hear what the **** he was saying) I was half shocked that a guy probably 10-15 years older than me has no care for other people’s safety and drives absurdly dangerous is now ranting at me as though I was in the wrong.

Seeing there was no reaction from me and with the now lights turning green he closed his door and we both took opposite directions going home. (Well I’m assuming he’s going home too)

-

I know I was wrong.

I shouldn’t have provoked him with my stupid antics but as a fellow driver, doing that ****ing stunt could've got us both in serious ****. You might not value your idiotic boy racing car but I’m sure as hell value mine. You gotta drive safely. A guy of his age should have enough experience to know this.

I’m 19 and I’ve held my license for a year and half now.

This is my 1st blog.
Cool story bro’

Dang that's rough, I'm glad you didn't get into an accident.
People that take risks by riding someones bumper or stopping short for no real reason are seriously morons.

Road rage is pretty dangerous nowadays...people are insane.

I've heard about drivers following people to their houses for cutting them off and beating the hell out of them/vandalizing their shiz...It's a frightening thought, but it happens rather often.

Glad things panned out for you.
