You can't have too many Mario characters. Not as long as there's five Fire Emblem characters. That's like saying there's too many Nintendo games. I still don't believe Paper Mario would get in over Toad, though.
To be honest, I've only wanted Bandana Dee when the ballot was announced. I was looking for a fighter to support because other people were already campaigning for their's, I supported other fighters for a short while till I ended up supporting Bandana Dee. I felt that if Fire Emblem had 4 reps, then Kirby should get a 4th rep & Bandana Dee was the perfect choice.
Its most likely going to be Wolf and/or Snake. Phantom Pain releases on the 1st for Snake & its the perfect time to release Wolf.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't think it's right to discourage the support of any other character, but some characters just scream "nope." Toad is one of them.

well i would say magolor because hes cool and cute and so hal doesn't ever forget him... but i would also say adeleine so they remember her...
I consider Ado and Adeline two different characters, despite the similarities. I mean, Adeline is a girl's name and Ado would be a boy's. That's just my opinion.speaking of gender confusion anyone else think adeleine was a boy at one point?

The FE character thing is mainly due to this this absurdly lucky friend of mine who got literally every one of the 4 newcomers (Shulk, Robin, Lucina, Chrom) he wanted this game sans Chrom and he wants like 4 more FE characters, so even if I think it won't happen, the thought of it won't stop lingering

That's definitely true. However, when I say "undesirable" characters, that's just my nice way of saying that I really hate their guts. I won't name any specific characters, obviously. But don't worry, for most other characters, I WOULD still be happy for their fans.There's a very good way to counter this sort of worrying: Remember that even if they're undesirable to you, there's a whole lot of people who will be made happy by that character's inclusion. That's what this is really all about.

So then I suppose since Bandanna Dee isn't in, he's never going to get in? K. Rool, the most requested newcomer for some time now, won't ever get in because he's not in now? What about Isaac and Wolf. There's this big ballot made specifically for people to request characters that they think should be in, but since they're not in the base game, their chances are forfeit, huh?

They'd have the element of surprise because of lack of knowledge from ZeRo. There are definitely people capable of doing it. Look at Sethlon, he picked up Roy and just started beating people's ass with him. Granted, he mained Roy in Melee, but still.

said multiple times, don't bash other fandom's wanted characters (Ridley/K Rool/etc). You don't want that to happen to BDee, so don't be double standard with your comments.

It varies from character to character. I wouldn't say the same pattern of logic applies to any of those characters. It's just that Toad has been around for so long, been playable for so long, been popular for so long, and been eligible for so long that it seems like he would've been added by now if he was ever going to be.
Just so you know, I wouldn't support Magolor if I thought he had no chance. I don't have the dedication of a Ridley fanboy.
