If it hasn't been said yet, be sure to mention that BD is a spear fighter when you vote for him. They're looking for uniqueness, and hardly anyone else wields a spear!

I've mentioned that Bandana Dee's moveset in Return to Dream Land translates excellently into the Smash environment. Seriously, they share a whole lot of mechanics.

Thinking about it more I could have worded this better. Any existing Kirby stage counts as a home stage for any Kirby character, therefore Bandana Dee would have the stages I stated above as home stages.

On the bright side, Shovel Knight barely has any influence in Japan.
Even then, Shovel Knight is a complete longshot.

The dreamstalk from Triple Deluxe would be a great stage. It'd be autoscrolling upwards with you jumping on the leaves before reaching Dedede's castle at the top

Please don't say that "we might just lose this". We're just the voters, not the competitors. Even if Bandana Dee doesn't get in, that doesn't mean WE lost, not at all! It just means that Sakurai didn't choose the character we wanted. ...Sorry, I just get a little picky about the way things are worded sometimes...
But either way... Don't be so ready to give up. I don't recall anyone saying that the character with the most votes would be guaranteed to be added. While Shovel Knight's cool and all, I just can't really see a character from an eShop game getting into Smash. Even if it was a really good game, I just can't see it happening. I think Bandana Dee still has a chance, or at the very least, Shovel Knight isn't the one who we should be worrying about.

Also, you need to try a little harder with the arguments/counter arguments. You'll never convince people who don't already like Bandana Dee that way. I don't mean to hate or anything, just to criticize in the constructive manner. You know, the rare type these days where people honestly point out legit problems with the intent of helping you out? Yeah, that kind. I know, I know, it's hard to believe in this day and age.

I hate you I worked so hard on this


Nah i'm kids but my Camstasia crashed on me and I really didn't feel like redoing but did anyways.
Also the only bad grammar I say was the counterarguments switching between quotation marks.. and the spelling with Bandanna some people spell it Bandana and some don't..its..weird.

If you give me a more specific layout of things to do I can redo it after all I still have the project saved.

P.S. Commas aren't my thing.

The fear I have with Bandana Dee besides the general uphill battle he faces in getting his due is Sakurai's tendency to not give more of the recent Kirby titles their due. All of the new Kirby stages were either from the Gameboy or from Super Star. Returns to Dreamland, Epic Yarn and Triple Deluxe had minimal presence. For that reason I'm worried about him getting passed over even more so than normal.

THIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSS. I like traveling stages actually! They spice up a standard simple stage for sure while not being chaotic like chaos stages (flat zone or DK Classic)... and they're not annoying like HUGE stages yet unexciting like your standard FD.

So a stage on a traveling Lor Star Cutter REALLY APPEALS to me. I also love how Kirby's most epic fights have been high up in the heavens. Like a cosmic and dreamy climax in some of his best games, against fearsome bosses like Nightmare, Marx, and Magolor. I'd imagine it'd look so pretty as well.

The Dream Stalk is also iconic from the recent Triple Deluxe but I'd fear they'd implement the 2 planes battle field that they did with DK. The gimmick is neat but after fighting on the DK stage, I've grown to see how bad it is. Not being able to see your fighter in the background leads to great frustration. If they can do it without the gimmick, I'd be fine with that.
