Yoshi seeks to win by attrition, being defensive and forcing the opponent to trade hits in his favor.

Yoshi has difficulty against projectiles, and against characters with aerials strong enough to knock him out of his double jump.

+B offers little reward for risk.
+Side-B is worthless.
+Down-B punishable.
+Grab offers little reward for risk.
+D-Smash a poor option.

+ Partial super armor for dash attack, dair, fair, and F-Smash.
+ Drastically increase D-smash knockback.
+ Increase egg duration for B.
+ Side-B no longer puts Yoshi in stun upon exit.
+ Reduce Down-B ending lag.
+ Increase damage of Down-B stars.
+ Increase pummel damage.
+ Increase damage to all throws.

I imagine Yoshi as being relentless, though cautious. I made his specials less terrible, and covered various moves with some degree of super armor. Overall, Yoshi becomes a much scarier character to play against, especially approach. Many characters will have to be more careful when deciding how to deal with the green dino. And of course...
