Honestly, I wish I knew how to play. Ive tried on yahoo but I got lost and gave up
It's quite simple.
You have to get your pieces to one side of the ''board'' where you can then collect them. First to take all their ''pieces'' gets a point. First to however many points wins. If you take all your pieces and your opponent has taken some, you get one point. If they have taken none, you get two points.
You move by rolling dice. The numbers you roll represent how many places you are allowed to move a piece of choice. Say I roll 6 and 2, I can move one piece 6 places and another 2 places or one piece 8 places. If you roll a double, you can move those many places four times.
If a place is occupied by two or more of your opponents pieces you cannot put your own pieces there. However, if there is only one you can ''capture'' them. Then, when it's your opponent's turn, they have to roll the dice to return the piece to the board. When they return, they have to go back to the start of the board, and in the place corresponding to the number they rolled.
lol I say it's simple then give the worst explanation of all time. Terminology is way off too.
Actually I used to play around 4 years ago...but then I dropped it suddenly and ever since I've never picked it up again.
Is there a really common backgammon site?
