i read somewhere on these forums to not spam back air, i just had to make sure.... realy??
i mean come on, spamming that builds so much dmg, even though along side other skills its not bad to spam , ur other moves are worked in and you can still get off the ledge and kill poepel with it, DK needs as much pressure as possible, and sitting in a corner and not doing anything is no pressure at all

The stickied guide says to not spam it because thats what scrubs do.

And Donkey isnt really a pressure character.

You dont know what your talking about.

Back air is really good, make sure you use it ALOT to space your self and apply pressure to peoples shields.
Double bairs=too good.
And yes, spam it but only when spaced correctly and shield grabs from your opponent are not possible.

Just keep in mind that some of DK's other moves are good to - ftilt, dtilt, and vb are also useful for spacing and punishing. Connecting with 9 (or how ever many moves get a diminishing effect) bairs will probably make it not so good at knock back and dealing damage. Basically not spamming likely means use your other moves too, not only bair!

Bairs are a great way to approach the opponent, but they can get very predictable. You want to use Bairs as an approaching method only about 50% of the time. After that you want to use tilts, and use hand slap against a character that likes to sit and shield, or roll around a lot. Hand slap can be stopped quickly and a shield grab can be performed on a lot of people hasty to get a hit in on what they think is an opening.
Also, Bair can kill people. If they're getting up to a high percent you may want to stall around with them and wait for a Bair setup, hitting them with one that has no staleness can really mess them up. Don't forget DK has exceptional grab range, and has 2 attacks that are safe and have super armor. Spinning Kong is a hard attack to get by that most people ignore, and purposely rushing into a persons attack to trade hits with Giant Punch can easily result in you taking some damage and them dieing hardcore.

Actually, you mis-read... Scrubs are the people who complain about people who spam the bair.

But yeah, that move alone is what makes him the ******** DeDeDe. <3
