Has anyone ever put out a guide that details the complete set of options Fox or Falco can do to get back after you B-Throw them off of the ledge and how to respond to them? People have told me it is a Rock-Paper-Scissors scenario that you can sometimes react too. If not, then maybe I'd make it, but I'm not the best source.

I'll give you a bunch of basic stuff

DJ airdodge - covered by waiting or meaty launchers or covering the area they're gonna airdodge in with a move preemptively (like run off nair if they can't get it out fast enough or w/e)

DJ attack - covered by early moves that beat the attack or moving out of its way and then punishing it

DJ sweetspot - beaten by placing a hitbox below the edge (run off dj nair, run off nair, air needles)

DJ back illusion - beaten by waiting and then swatting it or doing something that covers the illusion area and lasts forever

DJ back up+B - beaten by blowing out the candle and saying goodnight to space animal

shine stall > thing - beaten by doing whatever "thing's" counter is but a bit later. air needles tends to be good vs the options after the stall. you can also shoot the shine and often get frame advantage or produce weird behaviours in the space animal (though that's more player than anything).

is the shine stall just an attempt to wait out you running off stage and then jump back after you rising nair or something? cause if so, i would think the best option against it is either waiting or making sure to watch them when you're wrong so that you don't nair for no reason.

I think it mostly just works because sheiks don't switch up their edgeguarding once they realize the timing has been screwed up by going offstage early..they can still do needles coming back on stage at the very least.

i would think that shine jump back phantasm could also be covered by instantly needle cancelling into the ledge and then using rising bair

also if they are moving as soon as you reach the spot for a rising nair you probably also have the option to wall jump something as well, though that's just a guess.

anyway this is a really good basic flowchart. I will definitely give this to my brother when i'm back in the USA
