Yeah... its possible, definitely the hardest to get in the game but definitely possible. This could totally ruin someone's day who is chasing you.
Press b and tap the control stick LIGHTLY--lighter than a homing missle. If you switch directions with a charge shot in the middle of the air, you have done this. I'm gonna practice this alot and see its usefullness.
Edit: I just tried this and the easiest way is tapping the control stick LIGHTLY to half way of the resting position, to the right or left cardinal, then immediately pressing b. Its much easier this way.
Oh yeah, you can ONLY do this in the air, on the ground you cant tell because the tapping of the opposite direction is before the b button coming into place, so you will turn around in the first place. You cant do this while running, because once again the tapping of the opposite direction before the b button is coming into place and you will just fire a homing missle the other way. Gl guys, post if you are having trouble. (It is actually kinda simple for me now)
