Smash Apprentice
A while ago I posted up a story about "me telling off a gamestop employee."

and I got an infraction by a moderator for "minor spam" because I posted a "delay" thread after a sticky said not to.
That story I told isn't real. I was so tired of seeing so many poeple being scared of the delay that I thought if I told a story about how it's NOT delayed, people would stop...just so happens that I have the worst luck, because Sakurai updated with an official delay.
My mailbox got bombarded with hate mail...lol. Yeah, I didn't know how to respond to this...so I just laid low for a while...
The only true part about my story is that Toys R Us at the time did have their shipments scheduled for 105 copies of Brawl on Feb 10th.
Anyway, point is, that out of all of you, one guy in particular found it so entertaining that he posted a YouTube video of himself reading my post with a description to his video saying, "I told off a gamestop employee sorry had to write this ownage down and read it back 2 u"

This video has gotten so popular, that is has sprung up 87,000+ views in a little over 2 days, and there are already 4 video responses/remixes for it.
It's crazy!
All this over what I posted up about the delay.
The guy who posted the video set it so that he has to approve the comments before they're posted. So he's not letting me post comments on his video.
I figured I'd just sit back and not interfere and see where it leads...kind of chuckling at the creation I've made that spawned from my infamous post.
But I think it's gone a little too far... or maybe it hasn't gone far enough...
Either way, I've decided to step out of the shadows and speak.
I've favorited this infamous video and a couple of the remixes that were made from the original video...so I guess I'm enjoying this hype, too.
But, my question is,...what do you think? How crazy is this? ...I mean...there's no way for me to out him as a fake and tell people that I'm the guy who posted the original "Awesome GemeStop Story" thread (aka "Let's end the DELAY!"). I can't out him...he won't approve/post my comments.
But at the same time, I think I should be grateful that he was able to take my story up to another level and make it a phenomenon on YouTube.
At the same time, I feel like it's tarnishing my tagname, Jupiter, which I've adopted a long time ago during Melee. I plan to stick with it for Brawl. But maybe in actuality, this isn't tarnishing my name...
But I guess this will only make me more well-known...only people will be like, "wtf?!" when they meet me in person and realize I'm not that nerd on YouTube. I don't really think that the majority of people who see the video know that it's from my (Jupiter) post on SmashBoards.com . I don't even think my username/tagname is even attached to the video for those who never visisted this site.
I'm curious to know what the rest of you think about this....should I just roll with it and let the infamy return to me?
