I don't have time now, but all the capture cards I looked at yesterday had no sound. Perhaps we have to use Line in on the sound card? >_>

Plasia probably said something in his post a while back, I'll look it up later, when i have the more time.

EDIT: Ok, list to buy when we go shopping.

1. TV Card, that has the Yellow video in female plug, or an adapter for the yellow male to a male s-video.

2. A sound adapter that will adapt stereo sound input (red and white male plugs) into standard Line in (blue plug on sound card).

3. Compression software (maybe?)

Plasia, if we're missing anything, give us a shout. ^^

Woo! Top Tier VCR. For those who have Top Tier VCR's but don't know how to calibrate recording PAL 60Hz onto tape, lookie here.

Step 1. Calibrate your VCR to NTSC input. Have to use manual configuration.

Step 2. Calibrate your VCR to PAL colour. If you do not have this option, your VCR is not Top Tier.

Step 3. Record.

Simple.

It was an items + ffa tournament, where I got to the final where JM beat me under these conditions. Props to him, although I sure showed him who the daddy was once we got to n2c. It was a hideous setup and to put it in Cats' words "Designed to eliminate skilled players and give noobs another chance" losers from rounds 1 & 2 got to move onto a loser bracket of sorts, whilst everyone that continued to win after that point, went into sudden death mode (not in game, I'm saying, 1 lose = out). Not only was this crap, but the loser of the 'loser bracket finals' (some noob) gets 3rd place, whilst the loser of the 'winners bracket finals' (me) comes 4th. Comprehende? I dont. Anyway, I sure still did have fun time afterwards. Falcon antics are gold! GOLD! XD. haha i wish i could have come to n2c but as it turns out i was looking after 6 kids lol, needed that sleep (the little i got since i ended up having a fun chat all night)

glad to hear cao is owning. tell him to get really good with 3 chars so we can have another set of 9 matches when he returns. i was gonna try roy vs your chars but after phantoming constantly today with roy i believe i cannot stand it anymore. peach kirby ganon next time cao! start preparing!

i have also started the flame war at e2g forums, well, it's not one yet but i'm sure if we give it time then the place will get nice and cozy. just one request for anyone who is gonna post and add to my complaints against e2g, please don't say anything stupid like "stfu e2g n00bs" or "you're a bunch of **** your tourney bracket is st00pid" since i want them to be the troll ******s and not us.

Guys, Mic here. I've just beat Cao's bowser with Roy, which apparently, Plasia and Shaz (who has from what Ive heard has claimed to have "Mastered" Roy) hasn't done. It was a struggle admittedly, but still.... My Roy > Melbournes Roy

Hey folks, I've been back from Perth for some time now, and after some sleep, I've made a nice thank-you/shout-out post about what I think about Perth (remember I'm the king of assumptions). First of all Perth rocks. It's definently a case of quality over quantity over there, and it's nice to see some dedicated specialists (Ryan's Yoshi, Timmy's Kirby, Josh's Peach (well it's different, XD) etc.) and EVERYONE is advanced as hell. Not a n00b in sight. Perth vs Melbourne is gonna be god-tier sexy, come December. A special great thank-you to Josh's folks for hosting me and the crew for the 4 days and for the pleasant outing to 'The Chinese Restaurant' (of pwnage). A big thanks to Quez for being cool, Ryan and Mic for also being cool and keeping me company at the airport (an additional thanks for the courtesy up-B), and thanks to Mat for not being an *** like he is online and is a really cool guy in real life. Thanks to Kenton, Bryce and Timmy for visiting and playing me - it makes the trip all the more worthwhile, and you guys are freaking scary to verse. I swear I fall for the gayest things with Kirby, and Kenton's CF is dead sexy/scary. I wish I got to verse you more though - you were being whored my Mat/Mic the day the matches were recorded. I'm glad Perth has such a nice Smash scene and I wuv you guys ^^ The Lanning was fun too, that was my first ever piece of WC3 in my life and it was fun being owned, lol.

I'm sorry we didn't get to go out as much as we could have, but as mat said, you pretty much saw the best of perth anyway: us (and the chinese restaurant of pwnage).

We made sure you got plenty of matches in so there was no 'um, i don't really know how good person x is, i didn't verse him' so yeah.

It was awesome to have you over and it was overall just a great 4 days I think we all enjoyed.

Anyways with regards to the videos i've gone through 2 1/4 tapes with 23 matches so far. If people don't want certain vids on just let me know, if i can get this all done before our next smash meet, you can all have a look, decide which you want on, then everyone can have a copy of the vids so we can begin distributing.

If you have any specific requests for matches you wanted up, please tell me! Not small bits you wanted for the music vid, but just whole matches you wanted to see captured. Some matches had some really good bits but then flatlined shortly after which is a shame.
