Yea, was great. Thanks again for hosting Reon. There was some good smash today even if we only got a share of a little. Let's just say, Anf and I have a better understanding of Victoria's roads now...

^^ I was starting to wonder that as well... Even M2K couldn't beat them and he was the best contestant out of all the Boozer challengers managed to bring them all down by one stock. Even Shaz couldn't match that...

Actually Captain Jack was the best. ^_^ Shaz is just.... dope. LOL
Heh, I remember CJ's first Bowser challenge at @M and how he almost won. Then in the second when people started using teamwork....heh heh, good times (**** Falcon's reverse up-b grab!)

Anyone read the arguments over in the brawl discussion on the topic of removing characters?

Seriously When you even go into that part of the smashboards, you can really notice how many novice posters there are, and how little they know about the game.

I mean yes we proberly all thought like them at one stage back in the caveman day when first trying smash.

But this whole idea of taking characters out of smash really annoys me, and the people who point fingers at the so called clone characters really have no idea of how different they really are.

I'm going to be super mad if they take out doctor mario, and ice climbers and whoever else they decide to take out, dont they realise some people invested time and put alot of heart into these characters.

If only I had the energy to type something up and save the doctor.

Mark, I totally agree. I don't think the developers see the characters as we do though, for their intended purpose of creation -novelty/fad appearances to mix it up a little and bolster the character ranks- is no longer that; the individual quirks and traits of the "clone" characters have created totally new styles and sets of characteristics unique to their game.

To a casual gamer, the only difference between say, Falco and Fox would be that Falco is slower and stronger; but we all know they're totally different in terms of how they are played on a pro level. I suppose it's a real shame the developers are looking at this scenario through their rose-tinted glasses, and I suppose are trying to breathe new life in what appears to be "tired" characters from their perspective.

Otherwise cool to see you guys have gotten to the level of interest in the game to work on it without me about. I'll be playing more soon, but I have some attention to give to other parts of my life at the moment so...yeah.

*Sob* Tell me about it. The only ones I can see that are lkely to be removed though are Doc and Pichu. I'll be sad to see him go (not Pichu) but I could understand why. And please, if you can post something intelligent in that cesspool, PLEASE DO.

In an unrelated topic, Eagles ftw.

Yeah, sure. Depends when, though.

Of course... I knew that.........

But since I have no defence in my own misinterpretation I will concede defeat... this time. In fact I won't even edit my post, let us all behold my mistake haha.

Does anyone watch Good Game on ABC2?
It's a gaming show, suprisingly enough.

It seems they have a "Master Class" section each week detailing how to be good at certain popular games, like NFS, and Battlield. Or something, i've only watched 2 episodes.
Maybe there could be a SSBM session, and maybe the forums would be a good place to mention Comrades in January...

Actually, I had no idea we actually had a gaming show here. And that would be a good way to advertise Comrades... they do take suggestions for games to talk about, right? SSBM should definitely be up there lol.
