K, from now on I'm just gonna start saying whenever you beat someone good, they were playing bad. Candy is better than you. You can pull up results since you're good at that for verification

NL outplaced you at COT4. He got 7th or 9th while you got 33rd and I'd put money on him winning head to head 90% of the time

Candy and I have very similar results. We tied at CoT4, beat a lot of the same people, etc. I respect him a lot as a player and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about me. I don't think either of us would say one is clearly better than the other.

Yup, that's his one tournament in the past several months that he FINALLY did better than me.

inui i would crush you to a pulp in both smash games

I don't care about Melee enough.

I've beaten you every time in doubles and have done better in singles most of the time, so ok... I know you're good, but I'm pretty sure I'm better than you in Brawl right now.

With picking a list of 5 smashers, there are more things to consider than what exactly meets the eye. When picking the 5 we as a community feel, that we would be comfortable having sponsors could be listed in categories.
When picking the 5 we really should be looking atand for what reason:
Consistency(It's really obvious, wthout consistency you don't do good)
Area( should'nt be loaded with too many smashers from one area)
How Often This Person Plays Against the Others On the List
How Often This Person Enters Tourneys
Accomlishments/ What Is the person capable of
How would this person perform regionally.

I'm the unofficial leader of my state, the host of really successful and popular events, co-leader of the strongest crew, attend tournaments literally every weekend, and I perform well all the time. ~_~

It's nothing personal at all, it's just the simple Atomsk is more consistent with better placings than you. You probably know that and that's why you put the at the end, oor maybe you were being sarcastic. I'm not looking so much as "contibutions" to the community because people could argue that M2K hasn't done much more than take other's money (even though anybody with a brain know that's wrong) but being sponsored to play the game has nothing to do with running good tourneys

I wasn't comparing myself to Atomsk, although people seriously exagerrate how much better he is than me. I don't even think the gap is big at all. It's shrinking quickly if you look at more recent results. He outplaced me by one spot at CoT4 with an easier bracket and I outplaced him by 2 spots the other day (would have been 3 if I cared about losers finals, but I like Shadow and we agreed to split, so I messed around a lot to amuse the crowd and myself). We're perfectly comparable and I aim to prove that more.

I do think he should be sponsored over me if he wants to and his parents allow it.

I don't think it's fair for people to discard me or not consider me for reasons like Slikvik has.

well if truely im suggested to make that final call, then simply i'd choose just based on common knowledge.

my apology to any of those not chosen. and quite honest i feel bad bc without a doubt inui is my favorite in the whole smash community. i'd stick by his judgement always. but without playing such a popularity game these are the one's chosen. Azen though very good i couldn't find much activity. the same goes for M2K until recent days. and i picked each one simply as i will explain...

M2k studies this game and without a doubt has a natural ability to adapting to new things. Outsmarting ppl by far is amazingly unreal. Very much fit to be called a pro gamer.

Spam tho yet another MK, but plays with his own distinct capablities. aside from M2k's aggression and pressuring his opp. spam plays a bit more defensive showing another side...a slight one but surely a side different than others.

Atomsk progressed so much in this game and the knowledge of this game atomsk surely holds. Tho hasty at times that pure aggression to get better and ever growing mindreading capabilities are something to see.

Snakeee lol many are confused as in him over Azen, but he has put some dedication into the character he mains and without a doubt excel in spacing and knowing boundries. knowing when to be patient and when to act is all in a process to becoming a pro.

Chu i believe is mature and level headed at the same a skilled smasher. lol I can't have all the crazies sponsored. lol jk and further more he presents excellent kindness and hospitality. We may have brief chats but his skill speaks far more than enough

Once more im sry for those i didn't pick most deserving of these positions. but we all kno not everyone can make it.
and if possible i would like the 5 chosen to list my aim and IM me soon most helpful this weekend. i need to explain a few things to them. sigh* i can't believe i had to make that choice XD thats so hard and even still i wanna change my mind but i need to stay focused and keep this goal heading strong.

btw...if anyone feels that my choices are wrong or biased lol let me kno XD...i mean only 3 are in my crew but thats by chance/luck

well, sry i kno but it's about time i go with a choice i feel is best. Azen is no doubt a top player but sometimes what you already see as good simply just stay the same without seeing any progression, just that they win. when you see someone progress and continue to progress like snakeee then i'd approve that knowing he is getting betr. so i chose him. i knew you all would say yea Azen, and i had him as a definate person but with so many ppl that could have those spots i picked someone i felt was worth it. everyone else pick 4 and i chose one person so i believe in my judgement. so now i have work to do today while everyone's at road to V. in jersey city. E-mails and walk-in interviews with gamestop. so dont put so much stress on me atm.

i respect your opinion, but not a remark of me not knowing about this community and the accomplishments of people in it. see although you are right i know it very well to be true and maybe by a wide margin that snakeee isn't better than Azen. The fact that azen put as much work in to getting where he is i see it just the same as in wow he does all of that but not chosen for a sponsor. well i cannot be biased about it but i chose snakeee bc i see a lot of potential. now i've picked ppl that many agreed with. first off i would have chose my all of the ppl i wanted but i let others speak and voice their opinion. and bc 1 person isn't chosen you complain. making this thread wasn't useless nor a waste of time. if you all picked even some intermediate smashers i would have went with it. but i wanted to also pick someone of my choice that wasn't another stupid meta knight beneath m2k or spam. further more azen does have capabilities to use a large variety of characters but i think i could depend on snakeee more. laugh at me all you want but jus kno that i am the person thats doing more for this community than sitting on my azz going to tourneys not trying to make it more competitive than just in a confined area. im working to get brawl a spot on the list of games worth of competitive sponsorships. and what are you doing....? you just go to tourneys. just remember if all things go as planned you will thank me for making this game a national joy for all. a new experience new smashers and televised fame. i dont want to hear another word from you if it's just complaints rather than ways to help along this goal.
