New update. Bash me if you feel the need just because I started a thread about an update.

Discuss the new Assist Trophy. Me likes it, personally.

Never heard of this guy, but I like the idea of modern buildings shooting up out of the ground.
Does anybody have any guesses about what level that is shown in the picture? Looks new to me.

I really like what he said on this update though:

"Well, I guess Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the kind of game where anyone can show up and anything can happen!"

Talendime have you ever played Smash Bros. Melee? He was a trophy in that game :O
Yes, I have played Melee, I just have no memory of this guy catching my eye in the game, even if he was featured as one of the near-thousand random trophies there were to collect.

Well I suggest you read through every trophy you have in the game when you get really bored one day like I did.

Or even, WILL WRIGHT? The man on who Dr. Wright was based?

By the way, I think Nintendo got all the Wrights on this character, at least according to tha Will himself.

Yeah, who actually has the rights to this character? When I first saw it, that's what blew me away as I thought it increased the chances of Geno and stuff tenfold but now that I think about... Nintendo might have all the rights for the SNES version or something, rather than Maxis. Anyone know?

(It is a lovely Assist Trophy though!)

Wiat, arent the hammer bros AND Goro also trophies on melee?

Maybe the assist trophies are all ex-trophies from melee?

That would be pretty neat except then there would be no added characters (Remember that Metaknight and Pit - among others - were both trophies in Melee.

Hopefully the number of different assist characters turns out to be that large, though. It'd be cool if they modeled the trophies after the Pokeballs, where there are typical characters and "rare" characters and something useless characters. The question then would be - who would be the Goldeen of Assist Trophies?

Haha, I'd say Toad.

I feel happy that I recognized the character, even though I didn't know from which game. Though, hey, we should throw in a Shiggy-based character as well and let them duke it out.
