This is general support thread for any sort of content (be it spirits, stages, items, assist trophies, or fighters) from or associated with 80s microcomputers such as the Commodore 64, Amstrad, ZX Spectrum, or BBC Micro. (pictured above respectively)

In the UK, these things were huge - thought video games just didn't exist between E.T. and R.O.B.? You're wrong. The reaction Terry got in Latin America would be comparable to the potential reaction to any microcomputer content, even a stage or AT, in the UK.

Some examples of potential Smash fighers from microcomputers include Miner Willy, Monty Mole, Thing on a Spring, Henhouse Harry from Chuckie Egg, and the character here you're most likely familiar with: Giana of the Great Giana Sisters. Admittedly fighters aren't exactly the route I want for microcomputer content, but I may as well bring it up.

The biggest reason for backing microcomputer content in Smash would be music. The Commodore 64 in particular is known for its amazing sound chip (SID) as well as composers who really knew their stuff.
