Are there any changes in the PAL version of brawl?

I was just wondering, as I have it and in the PAL version of melee there are a LOT of differences to the characters. All I know at the moment is that you can use hammers on intense boss battles.

Im not sure, all I 100% know is there is a change from melee to brawl and it is that the next game got very worserer (nice language)

lol prof is on to something. somewhere between the PAL version of melee and the NTSC version of the sequel things have majorly broken. like i cant seem to turn slo motion off and i cant seem to get my l-cancels to work... is anyone else having the same problem.

Btw i have found a solution. If you turn on Brawl then click the 'EJECT' Button on the Wii console and replace the disc with 'SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE' it seems to solve the gameplay issues but the graphics get a little worse.
