DKC: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors, Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8. Hell, I'd argue the console's best games make little to no use of the Game Pad.

I kinda feel like Nintendo could easily package a discounted version of the console with just a pro controller and slash the price hard.
Maybe I phrased that wrong haha. In any sense, it feels like there's some sort of pressure on developers to make games based around or heavily use the gimmick, whether that pressure is imagined or real. In a situation like that, ideally you would want a game that uses the gimmick to extend upon itself, an example being Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. Or, if a game was based around the gimmick, basically you'd want it to be intuitive and not half-assed, like Mario Kart Wii (from a mechanical standpoint, item distribution and other problems aside).

I'd agree a price cut would be good, especially when considering that the WiiU section in game stores is usually quite small. On the current topic, though, I'd love to see some more RPG crossover stuff, and am really excited for the SMTxFE game coming up

Like the $100 cut whenever Microsoft made the Kinect optional on the XBone.

Didn't they cancel SMT X FE? Could've sworn I heard that they did from somewhere.

I thought this was worth posting, but Nintendo's gone and done it again. A new "crossover" game was announced. Etrian Mystery Dungeon which takes place Etrian Odyssey world but has the game play of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Interesting how this little phenomenon isn't just limited to Nintendo franchises playing like other series, but vice versa too.

I wouldn't say it's specifically a Nintendo thing, since Mystery Dungeon has been around in non-Nintendo forms since 1993. It's more of an Atlus x Spike Chunsoft thing, but it's still pretty cool that it's happening at all.

Not exactly crossover game related, but I did like the Nintendo Monopoly and old school Donkey Kong Jenga Nintendo's put out.

If they keep doing crossovers I don't want it to be X and Y games characters coming together, but Y game using X games play-style and mechanics.

On the subject of Nintendo Crossovers, Puzzles and Dragons Z + Super Mario Z is actually pretty dammed fun, it's def a must have if you like match 3 puzzle games.

Personally... I'd love a Fire Emblem Warriors game if they're gonna keep going with the cross overs.

That or let Namco basically make a Soul Calibur game with a fire emblem wrapping. I'd happily settle for either.

Dunno if this counts, but I'd like to see monolith soft take the Xenoblade X engine and make a really good Gundam game.

I personally want to see a Fire Emblem-type SRPG using Nintendo crossover characters. Shocked, I'm sure.

SMT x FE turned into Revelations Sharp-FE (So basically... Persona w/ Fire Emblem characters instead of Personae).

I'd also like to see Capcom Vs Smash. Or even Dissidia Vs Smash.

Not sure if it counts, but the new Mario & Luigi game is a Paper Mario crossover!
