Approaching against Falco

Hey guys. I've recently been playing my friend's Falco. I can usually **** him since he's so predictable, but I would like a few pointers on how to approach a Falco. His SHL usually stops my DD and WD altogether. I've been told to use raptor boosts more often.

Can someone give me a few pointers?

um negative on the more raptor boosts..

hop over lasers, use nair/dair and space your attacks well, powershield lasers, wavedash out shield.....piece of cake.

Slap the controller out of his hand and then raptor boost him....and if he starts complaining in real life well then introduce your knuckles to his face. lol jp.

Use your nair and dair and space your attacks real well....it's really easy to do.

confuse him on levels with platforms
when hes starting to spam groudn level, jump up. when he jumps up again charge
or jump and fast fall through the platform.
things like that can make the approaching easier

be quick on the platforms, as the others have said, quick shffl'd nairs and dairs make sure you land behind his shield grabs from a falco are bad news on fastfallers like us.

Edgeguard hard, don't be afraid to go out pretty far for a backair. any attack on a falco's up+b will mean death.

your shorthop won't jump the lasers effectively but a shorthopped Nair will.
