Guys this is real simple but is so crazy. It's just JUMP CANCEL GLIDE TOSSING
The button input is X or Y + A and the direction your going in. You can use this in any direction
throwing the item and the direction your gliding in. So you got all these options:

Item toss direction: Up, Down, Left, Right

Gliding direction: Front and Back (Duh)

You can incorporate any if these directions anyway you choose how to. A simple tech easy to learn
great results and now we have a real answer to diddy kong.
Basically, it's a new way to glide toss by jumping instead of rolling. What's so special about it? Well, you can't shield while you're running but you can jump, meaning you can be more mobile with a glide toss. Plus, it gives more distances on the toss to Fox. ZSS and TL people say it works for them. Will it work for Falco? I'm wii-less right now.

I much prefer this to Falco's stupidly long, unwieldy glide toss. Use it!

Btw, this is for sheezy old. Toon Links have been doing it for a long time.

On a side note, Falco lives very long when he's got an item in hand, since his momentum cancelling becomes awesome.

I figure it wasn't too recent since a lot of the Fox's said they've heard of it before, but it's new to Falco's I guess. How much shorter is it from the regular glide toss? If it's good if enough for Pure, it's good enough for me.

The distance gained from this is NOTHING in comparison to Falco's Glide toss. Add to that the fact that you risk tripping every time you do this (where by glide tossing you don't), it's not exactly the best option if you're trying to get some distance out of a throw.

The distance for the JCtoss is roughly the size of Diddy's Glide Toss, or slightly less than a quarter of Falco's glide toss.

Which makes JCToss > Glide toss for Falco, imo. The distance on Falco's glide toss is way too big to be practical.

Jump Cancel Glide Tossing?

Person fails at keeping up to date with techs.

*coughs* just Jump Cancel Tossing

I prefer DACIT. (Dash Attack Canceled Item Throw)

I forgot how far Falco's went, but I know Link, Fox, and a few others had epic DACIT's.

Especially Ike, who goes like.. the entirity of FD can recatch the item and do it again

I haven't heard of DACIT either. Is it just forward > c-stick down > direction+A with an item held?
There is a reason no one really hears about it. As Denzi said it has it's fault should you get a trip. Plus, the JC sometimes isn't longer than the normal glide toss people have and how often will you be using the tech anyway? The only real use is against Diddy and the occasional rare chance you get a hold of TL's, Link's, Peach's , etc. items.

I'm running on only a couple of hours of sleep each day for the last few days. I'm prone to make reading mistakes. :(

Well, you run the possibility of tripping every time you move, so I can disregard that. But being able to dash or run and then have a projectile to cover you during a glide in which you can attack seems pretty useful to me, as opposed to just standing and then going into a glide.

You can't trip if you walk. Some peoples playstyles revolves around running as little as possible, or not at all. They walk and jump (and in some cases use specials) to get places.
Yeah, this. IAP + the ability to cancel it at different distances > just running.

Timing difficult to get the exact cancel you want. If you mess up then you'll just do the full or a cancel you do not want. This makes it risky to use then facing away from the stage. So to me, running > than Phantasm, unless it involves the full length phantasm, then I see it being better than running. If anyone can cancel perfectly (which I have yet to see anyone do so) good for them.

Yes, this is old for characters like TL or Link, a Link player told me about it ages ago, still I haven't tried it yet lol, I got used to that long glide toss xD.

btw that Link gets this AT almost everytime, in fact in random friendlies sometimes his only way of moving is this xD. So if the distance of this ''glide toss'' is useful we have a new trick against characters like Diddy.
