N64 + Smash. I'm going to ask chibo what he plans to use to have SSB64 on a monitor lagless and if he shares the info with me, I might just obtain the equipment to do so myself and I might have my own full setup as well. But for now it's just console + game

Yo han you should keep track of TVs, Consoles, and Cartridges as all different categories so its easier to see what is missing, instead of putting all the partials in one all purpose list

Oh yeah I'm buying a OC console from KnitePhox so that makes 4 consoles total.
I only have 2 carts, but if Bushido brings one, and someone else grabs one that would be sweet. I do have a Japanese cart w/adapter we could use too..

i am also buying an oc from knite, I am not sure if he is including those in his personal setup count though. if he isn't then that is one more console from me.

Are consoles and cartridges still important or are we bottlenecked on crts?

I could potentially pack my n64 and a copy of smash if it's necessary

Not to try to make your job more annoying or anything, but you should tally up all the non-full setups and add a "remainder/leftover" section. So if besides the full setups, you had 5 TV's, 3 consoles and 2 games, the section would look like

Remainder
3 TV's
1 Console

That way we know what the bottlenecks are (in this example it would be not enough game cartridges) and people would have an idea of what's really lacking. That way we don't have people offering to bring several consoles with games if we already have a surplus of 20 of those or something.

And then add a total complete setups tally after that, so we can use this when we fight for a proper bracket system at apex.

I could probably bring a setup. I bought a crt tv a couple months ago, the problem is the thing weighs about as much as my car. Its like 36". I also don't want to have to be concerned about watching it and making sure everything is in place and not lost or stolen. If I give someone like $5 or a 6-pack would they be willing to babysit my setup once I get to Apex?

I can bring a ssb 64 cart. It doesn't save, though. Maybe someone can open it up, and solder the new battery I put in long ago. (I used tape to hold it together. lawl.)

I don't own a console because I sold it, but maybe I can borrow Madrush's N64. I'm imagining Mariguas is bringing his console as well, but I'll talk to him about it. (Dexter as well.)

EDIT: I think we'll be fine. A lot of people that are going have not listed what they're bringing. I also like how a Melee player is bringing the most N64s out of everyone thus far.

I brought a 36" to a tourney one time, and it was a pain in the ass. I had to bring a dolly to lug it around because it was 150 pounds. I wouldn't bother with such a huge TV.

Hans you can change my setups from 7 n64 and 5 cartriges, to 5 full setups (5 tv, 5 n64, 5 smash) and 2 spare n64s.

Hey guys, ideally we would have at least 32 setups. It looks like we're about 10 short at the moment, so if just a few more of you could pitch in that'd be awesome. Also, PLEASE put labels on all of your stuff. This includes the TV, console, cart, power cord, and composite cables.

I would contribute a setup but we don't have a CRT that is moveable or an n64.

I don't think I even have a copy of the game right now.

And no, this community is not sharing with any of the other ones. Not sure where any of you got that idea.
