Apex Bracket Software

Hi I'm somewhat new but I was wondering what software was used at Apex 2012 and also how they incorporated pools into the software as well(assuming it was separate from the software).

I'm so used to ALJ's Tournament Maker. Tio looks similar but it's a bit tricky. I want to learn to make full use of the stations feature and how to select winners and such. I currently favor ALJ.

On the flipside, how can I learn more about how pool placings affected bracket placement? Are there any Apex TO's around here to help me? I figure 4 man pools, you enter it manually into the software as four different skill levels no?

normal tio is on allisbrawl...the new tio is pretty bad.
