Anyone want entire Melee cast back? I know it likely won't happen

There is a screenshot where Mario states Luigi's name and they do have 2 player capabilities. However, they stated the second player may just be another star clicker. I am not sure yet. They haven't been very clear on what the role of the second player will be an whether Luigi will be playable or not.

They need a four player Mario game where one person can be Mario, one be Luigi, one be Yoshi, and one be either DK or Yoshi.

I would love to see Wario and Waluigi make it in a Mario game as minor villains or maybe being the Knuckles from Sonic 3/Shadow of the adventure.

I like the sound of a four player Mario game. Some sorta adventure cross Mario game and you can be either;
Hero Team: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and <someone i can't think of>
Evil Team: Wario, Waluigi, <2 others i can't think of>
....I'm too ill and tired to inspired ideas...anyone help?

It's a bad feeling because it's a ridiculous one - don't worry, Luigi will return. Sakurai isn't a total idiot, contrary to what certain people may think.

Sakurai likes Doc, no alt costume for Mario so far, Doc would have an awesome stage, Doc had same moves as Mario in Melee but was very different in that he was more of a heavier character, not quite as fast, and did more damage, not to mention the Pills. There are several reasons. Not to mention he has his own series that was extremely popular.

Not to mention, Dr. Mario could easily be changed to have a very different and unique moveset. Also not to mention he had a decent size fanbase from Melee.

Decent, but slow compared to the other ones.

Also, how is that of Sakurai likes Dr. Mario? He likes his song, and that's the only real reason why Dr. Mario was added.

To be honest, that's a very lame reason...

Back to topic, I do want everyone to return, but the toppest to go are: Dr. Mario, Young Link, Pichu and Roy. In that order starting with Dr. Mario, and finishing with Roy.

I'd absolutely LOVE to see every character from Melee come for Brawl. T'is a sad thing indeed that it won't happen. It seems to me like Doc, Roy, Falco, and Pichu (in that order) are most likely to leave.
