EDIT: Original text deleted, it was the original question... i'm thinking of just making a question and test thread for things i find... and verify... and just short questions et cetra.

Dash Smashing... = Stutter Step Fmash... i hadn't read enough...

Spacing use effective for lag cost? Weight of spamming? No. Use of DB refresh... but still god awful lag.

Glitches//things... yeah... things:

L = Special
Tap Jump = Off

(my changes to control scheme)

anyway...

SH Nair FF via C-stick, double tap C stick to Dsmash

VS

SH Nair FF via analog stick, c stick Dsmash...

Lag difference?

Hold down on analog... now c-stick Dmash = Dtilt

And so... the 3rd attack of DB down (green) doesn't spike anymore...?

Um, could you be a bit more descriptive? Maybe I'm still a bit of a scrub and haven't heard of this name or something, but are you talking about using things like fsmash out of the frames for the dashing animation? If so, then I've used it a couple of times as a bit of a surprise, but nothing to go spamming about...mainly just because you don't want to be spamming smashes and lower knockback. =\

Usually works best when you're foxtrotting though.

You either mean fox trotting to smash or stutter step to smash. I never use the fox trotting, though stutter step does come in handy for tippers.

Do you mean an U-smash while dashing. I use that whenever my opponent is coming from above to the side of me. I try to make it look I can only do a low power attack, something that he could easily beat with an aerial, but then I u-smash him

correct... i was reading more into adv. tech descrip. What I was talking was what feardragon64 described... and the true name of it thus for is stutter step fsmash... i don't understand the different between the two techs steel2nd described... foxtrot>fmash using the dash frames, as far as i've read is the "stutter step"...

well ok i understand that spamming Fmash is awful = lower knockback and damage + awful lag...

but DB refresh works... for the knockback... the lag is god awful...

anyone who why Brawl mechanics do this? this is? and if it is worth looking into for play style...

SH Nair (instead of fastfall with analog stick) push down on C-stick... FF occurs and double tap down on C-stick. Dsmash with an IASA effect?

Now SH Nair FF w/ analog stick, c-stick down? there's a difference? I think.

A small glitch again I found... is it useful to keep in mind? you tell me? It is:

Hold Down on analog stick... now (with c-stick set to smash) c-stick down? it should result as a Dtilt instead...

Not a glitch, but yes that's another way to do the dtilt or utilt.
