how about those guys actually "pay" to come to a tournament first then we'd see how willing we are to pay for their flights? I think that's fair since they've never done that

i think its more expensive to go from U.S to Europe

im not sure though but I undetsand Fuzzyness point it would be nice to see the enthusiasm from the U.S player to actually want to go to Europe on they own accord .

if they had the spare money im sure they would go anyway without assistance

but at least they are showing an interest

and i dont think that every one is the community playing for there flight is absolute

they are saving up for a event prior

donating 10 or under really isnt this bad

who knows if they do actually come it will be interesting

lol Yeah, they do win a bit from prize money at events, they should atleast pay for part of it with that and then Europe come up with the rest instead of Europe paying for the WHOLEEE of their tickets.

Edit - Just so people know the 4 people were Mew2king, Mango, HomeMadeWaffles and Phil.

They should just, you know, use some of their tournament winnings if they actually wanted to come.
I also think they should only come if they wanted to, not because somebody else wants them to come.

That idea of Waffle was really stupid.
He just tried to use Mango and M2K to get their flights to europe paid.

I can understand if some europeans tried to get M2K or Mango to europe, since both are really good gamers and a lot of people want to play them, but who wants to play Phil or Waffles, if he has to pay them for it? Oo

And M2K and Mango shall just use their own money to come to europe, if they want to, since they could just win money over here to pay their flights.

HMW should come over and show the UK how to commentate because the commentary situation is dire to say the least...

Now back to the point. It's unreasonable to request a small community mainly comprised of teenagers to raise such a substantial amount of money. I expect $4000 to be an exaggeration but even half of that is far more than we can afford.

Am I wrong?

As I said, an exaggeration. I didn't come up with the figure, and to be honest my estimation of half of that was considerably accurate if I were to use your actual example of a ticket costing $471.

The point is: we are teenagers; we are poor.

When you woulnd't give a thousand dollars to someone you've never met before :3
exactly, such a hater, nah I wouldnt want my ticket to be payed anyhow, I cant accept money lol. unless i pay a part.

Tickets are very expensive, I payed 471$ for mine though and I'm sure flying from europe would cost less so Flight to France (471$) then flight from France to London ? (prob less than the remaining 500)
