Anybody NOT getting the 3DS verison...and waiting just for Wii U

I'm sort of waiting for two things. The first is the Wii U version to come out, and the second is for competitive aspects to develop. I'll get the Wii U version if it's a good competitive game, I'll play it casually at friends' houses if it's not a good competitive game.

No, sorry I probably should have specified lol. I know the whole roster, but I meant that I don't want to get too used to the characters and such for 3 months before Smash Wii U comes out. I'm afraid I'll get smash fatigue pretty much.

ah i see. I remember when brawl was released in japan. i watch all these really good japense players play with these characters. it gave me a feel for the new characters that helped me play with them at launch. Then i played brawl for 5 years. I guess everyones different. iTs fun to see what these characters can do and take that knowledge into your own playstyle

I think I'm gonna get the Wii U version than get the 3DS version later, they both have some reedeeming qualities

I'll probably get the Wii U version than get the 3DS version when it starts going on Ebay and such.

There's still a few reasons to get the 3DS version like the Smash Run mode and linking with the Wii U.

for as bad as the online was in brawl i kinda do miss playing smash online

I am not getting Smash 3DS. My financial situation forces me to pick one and after playing the demo I have decided to wait for the Wii U version.

I bought a Wii U for two games, Zelda and Smash Bros... And I'm all out of Zelda.

If I had to describe it, the 3ds version is a nice distraction. Once the WiiU version comes out, the only time I will be playing the 3ds version is when I'm on a long road trip.

I bought the 3DS version with the intention of re-selling it once the Wii U version is about to hit. I still have the intention of doing that but I will say this version impressed me more than I thought it would.

I've played both Smash 3DS and Wii U and i can honestly say i prefer the Wii U version
