Anti Zero Suit Samus Guide By Aether9k

Zero Suit Samus is currently considered by many to be a very potent threat in the Smash 4 metagame. Many players have been using her to great sucess including Nairo, NickRiddle, VaBengal, Serudos, Marrs, and Leon. Many guides teach players how to use a character, but with Zero Suit samus being a tournament threat wouldn't it be nice to see a guide on how to beat her as a character?

Aether9k did just that, making a video to help those who are struggling or just want to get better at the matchup get the information they need to succeed. Give it a watch and increase that Smash knowledge!

Zero Suit Samus is definitely A+tier, but don't act like she has more overall advantages over Rosalina and Shiek.

Anyway, as far as Sm4sh is currently, I don't believe any of the characters are "broken". Guides like this are fine, all characters should have one.

ZSS definitely needs skill to master, many of her moves have easily punishable lag, which can be exploited unless the person playing her is very good, then you are in for a challenge. In conclusion, stop whining, get good, and sm4sh on.

Mainly her grab setups that if done correctly can take stocks pretty easily but I agree with you, ZSS is one of my best MU and as long as you don't get hit by the paralyzer or air doge mindlessly you shouldn't get grabbed. In fact I don't get people who cry about "X" character being cheap or broken because they get their ass whopped by that character. I honestly feel that a big part of this community thinks that "the character beat me" instead of "the player beat me" which causes a scrubby and cancerous community that can have serious consequences on how the game is perceived by outsiders (look at the Diddy nerf).

Also lol at people who can't see their waif being joked on.

Zero Clothes Samus is amazingly strong in Smash 4 in 1v1s.
Waaay stronger than most of the cast, including Samus. She also got those alts that shows off the booty.

And what they did to Diddy Kong. After the six patch, Diddy Kong was fine the way he is and on the tenth patch, nerf him even more which was unnecessary. I don't play Diddy, but I don't have a problem against him and I feel bad for him.

How does ZSS have 'naturally unfair advantages'? She's one of the most balanced characters in the game.

while you have gotten the more important pieces of most players strategies using ZSS, the problem I see about your video almost focuses specifically those aspects. it's also worth noting that Flip Jump's head stomp triggers only when ZSS is in your character's vicinity. fighters with a far reaching UpSmash, like Marth, Link, and even ZSS herself, can intercept Flip Jump.

ZSS has greater mobility in the air, and her ground attacks aren't lacking either, granted. but most top players I've seen tend to rely on her aerials more and use ground attacks as attempts to shake off a persistent target. even Down Smash is used only as a hard read to a KO attempt at the higher levels.
