Anti-Pichu Thread

This thread is for any people against Pichu coming back in Brawl. Barely anyone will miss Pichu if he is gone, so why have him return at all? Who honestly would say they want a suicidal, Pikachu clone? You can also use this thread to express your negative feelings toward Pichu. This is specifically Anti-Pichu, not Anti-clones. So everybody just express it toward that waste of roster space Pichu and not anybody else.

I was thinking about Brawl a lot last night, and I thought that the game was... well... a sausage fest.

What Brawl needs, is a very feminine Pokemon to represent the cast of SSBB. I went looking through all four hundred some-odd pokemon, and after about two hours of careful thinking, I found the perfect candidate.

She doesn't need to jump, because she has no legs (LOL!) and she just floats around, like she's swimming. Because she's just a water pokemon. And the fact that she looks like a butt is really funny too. If they have a Wario Waft, they could have a Luvdisc Luvwaft (LOLOLOL).

Thank you for all your supp... i mean your hatred toward Pichu. No one has made this thread yet, so i decided to do it. To bring everyone together on one of the only "real" problems with Melee. If you want a Pro-Luvdisc thread, make your own or discuss at the Pokemon Sticky.
Now all we need is a good artist to make some sort of Banner for this thread!

Pichu is the ONE character I need confirmed. He brought one thing that all other characters failed at in SSBM.

What other character tacked on 1% every time he gave you 3%? What other character gave himself 3% just to live? What other character slaughtered himself just so you could laugh at him?

No one.
Pichu brought something to this game no one else could, and is their a point to ripping it out?
He was very original despite his stolen moveset, he was the lightest character with many powerful yet self damaging moves, it brought a whole new meaning to the gameplay.



If you rip Pichu out, you rip my heart out.

If he is out though, Pikachu should get the goggles and backpack however.

Really, though, Pichu needs to go. I hate the clone aspect and he's just a poor choice. The Pokémon franchise is so varied that a great injustice is done by repping the franchise with TWO electric Pokémon, both of the same family (and one is vastly superior to the other).

Yes, it's peer pressure that's making me believe just how much Pichu sucks. It has nothing to do with the fact that he's a pre-evolution, which makes him inherently useless (on the whole). It has nothing to do with the fact that he does damage to himself when using the majority of his attacks. It has nothing to do with the fact that he is nearly the EXACT same character as Pikachu except lighter, more agile and self-damaging.

Nope, none of the above. Pichu is worthless because of peer pressure and peer pressure alone. Besides, I haven't even played Melee. How would I have any personal basis upon which I could judge a character, let alone the game itself?

(Sarcasm aside, Pichu truly is a waste of space. He's more of a waste than Young Link, Doc and Roy. My Pichu sucks, your Pichu sucks, all Pichu suck. Pichu sucks = all Pichu suck = I win).

Electric is definately not the best known type. There are scarce amounts of electric types out there and just because Pikachu is the most well-known pokemon doesn't mean that electric types are the best known.
