another game you never heard of A.K.A shadow hearts

A trilogy of role-playing games set in an alternate history of the early 20th century, mixing gritty realism with fantastic elements and heavy Lovecraftian elements. the first two games takes place in Europe right before WW1 and during it, the third game takes place IN AMERICA some time during the 1920s [i think] to bad the first game was released one week before FFX because if it didnt this would be an awesome game many would remember, its a cult classic. the first two games have Yuri Volte Hyuga, a mix of badass idiot hero. He is a Harmonixer, which means he can fuse with the Cosmic Horrors he defeats except in the first SH there's a voice in his head that tells him to do stuff. This leads him to save this girl called Alice Elliot who the big bad needs for his doomsday device and it goes from there


The sequel sees Yuri's former powers sealed away by the new bad guys in town who naturally want to Take Over The World. so yuri has to deal with his curse but by the end he has some of his powers back


the third game replaces yuri with a Kid Detective Johnny Garland and gives the fusion powers to a skantily clad Magical Native American woman

I haven't played FTNW. I keep hearing it's not as good as covenant, but if I can just borrow it from a friend at any point, is it worth playing?

FTNW is less dark then the first two it helps if you play the second but you dont have to

That had to be the weirdest side quest I've ever played. Joachim actually got really broken after completing it, though. If I remember correctly, the Great Question form had stats in the 700's.
