You just moved into the town a week before the mafia came but you are almost completely deaf and nobody knows you. Since you want to help so badly and make friends along the way, every night you go out into the darkness trying to distinguish between the mafia and the town.

• Every night you can follow a player, revealing what action they have performed.
• Watching the same player a second time also reveals who targeted that player.
• Watching a player a third time also reveals one of their abilities at random
• Every night you can choose to send a player a letter through me. This can say anything and can reveal anything you have found out by watching and you decide if you want it to be anonymouse or not.
• You come up as Town on alignment checks

• During the day phase you can only speak with spelling mistakes in every word, and limited to simple short sentences / one word answers
• Cannot explain that you must talk like this in main thread
• Someone keeps stealing your hearing aids at night and nobody understands your sign language, so you cannot directly talk with players at night even with spelling mistakes (You can read what players write to you but can only reply in gibberish aside from sending a letter.)
• Watching someone a 4th time resets your ability to show only the action they have performed.
• If only there was a way for the town to understand you…

Seriously? My favourite role has died and it's all because half of town has been awfully lazy tonight!! She was definetley a fan-favourite too.

For those unaware, a cult in a Mafia game usually involves a single role recruiting other people as the night goes on, until they outnumber the town and Mafia and win. They also may or may not bypass cop checks. Be vigilant, as this is likely the dark force that some roles and the flavor text hint at.

As well, I think my ability was redirected last night. Either that, or there was a timestopper who stopped the night incredibly early.

Actually, explain what exactly a timestopper does. I've been thinking of a role for a certain character in my game and depending on what this does, this may be right up his alley.

I sincerely doubt the hearing aids would've given any useful advantage to the person that was holding them if it was a flavor pairing with the boy in A Silent Voice.

I'd be hard pressed to think of who might derive an advantage from them at all, actually.

Working theory is Swamp just got ****ed but does anyone know any deaf anime villains?

The idea still seems a little farfetched because as far as I know it didn't have a character associated with it per se.

It's fine though. Found the doctor so I'm safe for now. The reason I think there's a timestopper or Redirector is because I changed my target during the night...but got the result for my FIRST choice back. Wasn't a host error either.

I think the hearing aids being stolen is just flavor to explain his restriction for the Night, it seems to imply it always happen and isn't another player's action.

This. There doesn’t seem to be any major gain or change if he did get them back, assuming another player had them. It just said they disappear each night but never says if you can find them then something will happen. So I don’t think we should focus on them. At least for right now.

To answer why I think I was redirected...the roll check I did didn't match the one I put in. I switched my check to someone else after I put it on Stoopid, but then at the end of the night, I got Stoopid's alignment and not the new target.
