Hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place, I saw other speculation here, this seemed to be a huge Smash board, and I wanted to try and be the first to show this finding in the Sticker Powerup update. Hope I don't botch things up on my first post, or get beaten to the punch...
Okay, maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but hear me out.

In this image, we see a sticker's got four things in it's description, the sticker name(and game name), the amount of stickers, the stat boost, and a blank one.

In this shot, we have sticker name and game name, count, stat boost, AND character restrictions. From what we can gather in the update, the Kirby cell phone can only be used by those Kirby franchise characters. What's this got to do with the Animal Crossing franchise?

The Katrina sticker. It has the name, number, boost, and... something in the fourth area! What's in the fourth (unseparated) area in the sticker placement area?
The character restrictions.
Thus, it might be a longshot, but it could be assumed that it might be a similar display, saying something akin to "USE ON: *character head icon*"... if the Kirby phone is associated with the Kirby franchise, what would Katrina, from the Animal Crossing franchise, represent? One might say "The phone might represent the characters from Amazing Mirror", but Dedede was not in the game, yet is still covered by it's effects! Thus, it could be possible to assume...
Katrina is only usable on a character of the Animal Crossing franchise. Of course, a sticker can't be used on a stage, it can't be used on an item, it can't be used on a song, so all this leads to the Animal Crossing franchise being a full blown one. Item, stage, music, character.
