Anyway, not sure if anyone will find this useful to any degree but eh, I figured I'd post it anyway.
Both Ganondorf and Pit have something called a SlideStep. As it's not very pronounced with Ganondorf I'm not entirely sure it's well-known among the Ganondorf players I'll describe both.
SlideStepping is holding the shield button in after preforming a SideStep. This causes Ganondorf to lurch forward ever so slightly. For Pit this is a great method of spacing. For Ganondorf on the other hand it's hardly noticeable. At the moment they are the only two that I'm aware of that can do this.
By applying a variation of Pivot Dash Canceling to SlideStepping you get what I found, the Angelic Step. Sorry it sounds a tad oxymoronic for Ganondorf. ^_^"
Anyway, hold back on the joystick during your SideStep. Then as you come out push forward. This will cause Ganondorf to slide forward while Pivoting. Unfortunately it's very slow with Ganondorf and might not be applicable. In this video you can see Pit preforming it, just for visual clarification. In the video I refer to it as a Super SlideStep. It's the last technique displayed.

If this has been discovered, I'm sorry for bringing it back up. If nobody finds any use for this with Ganondorf, again I'm sorry for bringing it up. ^_^
