*** and US Players?

I'm a crazy import gamer so all my stuff comes from Japan. I was thinking of picking up the *** version of Brawl (for my *** system) to play online with my friend in the US (with her US system).

Can the Japanese players play with the US players?

I have a Japanese copy of Brawl lying around, but I never tested this. Lemme try it out now. EDIT: I can't find any American players, but Basic Brawl seems to work fine. I just won a match using nothing but Pit's side-B.
(SHIELD YOUR VIRGIN EYES, CHILDREN) "Jap" is censored because whoever filled out the wordfilters was feeling overzealous.

"***" was a term used by many people back during World War 2 its pretty much a racist word and has the same implication as "******" no surprise its filtered out

In World War 2, yes. It has since then become an acceptable abbreviation of "Japanese" and is very common in any type of technical terminology.

No, I played with my friend who had the Japanese version of Brawl on wifi in the past. It works.
