Amiibos To Release Alongside Smash Bros. For Wii U, 6 More in December

Nintendo announced a lot of things today! Among them was the release date for the new amiibo line: November 21st. This is the same day as Smash Bros. for Wii U. However, the bigger amiibo news came in the form of six newly announced figures, that will be available come December. Take a look at them below.

For the uninitiated, amiibo figures interact with the Wii U, and figures will provide new gameplay for amiibo-enabled titles. However, outside of Smash Bros. for Wii U's FP system, it's not completely clear how these figures will interact with new games. Skylanders and Disney Infinity are any indication, these figures will be big sellers for Nintendo. What do you think of the new amiibo system? Are you interested? Can't wait to buy Captain Falcon. There's too little F-Zero merchandise in the world. Hopefully they'll release a Blue Falcon amiibo alongside the new F-Zero!

I love how Nintendo tweeted this and asked which one I will get. I'm not getting one, I'm getting every last Smash-related Amiibo that comes out.

I don't know which amiibo I might get, or even how many I would want, but I can't see why I wouldn't get at least one. They really are well-made and look nice, even if you don't use them in the game.

DK and Ike are my favorite characters to play as. I know DK has one. Hopefully Ike gets one as well!

But as soon as I say that, I realize there are a dozen other character figures I'd want as well, ha ha!

Yeah, that add on is to be released next year from what I read today. However, the "New" 3DS will have the tech built in underneath the touch screen.

But why does Luigi have to have that stance? His bang bang or horror face would have been much better. Same with Falcon, why not his show me your moves stance?
