Sure your technical, but your also dumb, in that match vs samus, when she missed a grab and you were behind her, you usmashed her when she had %122 or something instead of fsmash, and your illusion got interrupted but a second later you phantamed again when one second was clearly enoug to see you needed to up-b, just get smarter.

vary up your approaches more i guess. after a while, you got pretty predictable.

also, repeat after me, up b is NOT an offensive maneuver

at least put what should I do instead of "X dumb thing"
lol, I did tell you what to do instead of "X dumb thing"...I said instead of doing a usmash when you have a clear shot(dumb thing) and they are at 100%+..do an fsmash, and instead of illusioning back on stage when you know your under the ledge level(dumb thing), firebird.

You play well.. And im defintely not much of a pro to suggest much although i did spot out a couple of things you could work on... Yea dont use up-b less your recovering or doing something of use with it. Your recovery also needs a bit work like using the right move to get back on stage. Also you play too aggresive.. Its good that you play an aggresive ground game but you should definitely learn when to switch it up up a bit. Neways thats just me im no pro to be criticizing but hope it helps anyways..

Watching the Zelda match.

-If you get a jab on Zelda, just fsmash or nair/bair. Don't try to combo more jabs/weak hits because she can just DI away and toe.
-Stay under Zelda when edgeguarding; don't jump straight into her fair/bair. If you're under her, you can just do a rising bair/uair/whatever.
-You know this already, but don't bother using upB as a KO move unless you combo it out of shine.
-Horrible spacing. You keep on jumping into Zelda's fair/bair, and you aren't taking full advantage of combo opportunities when you do land a shine or a dair.
-Slow your game down a bit; if you rush in so recklessly, you're going to get kicked in the face.
-Seems like you're focusing way too much on pillaring and once you do get the hit in, you're unable to follow up.
-Stop DIing down rofl
-Don't aerial past Zelda's shield AND fail to fastfall, because everytime you do that, you get hit with a bair. Simple shieldpressure works, since Zelda has a god-awful shieldgrab.

Don't try to pillar Samus.

K you're technical enough, but you don't put that techskill to good use at all. It's pretty much just mindless spam and flashy stuff that gets you killed.

Yeah I know that pillaring against samus isnt the right thing. I do it because I want to get a hit or 2, rack some damage, and maybe do a simple combo like dair>shine>uair. I know that Samus will up B thats why I try some multishines lol, it does works sometimes.

Thanks for the rest of the advice! I know I sometimes do dair past him trying to uptilt >_> but get hit by bair lol (maybe I didn't cancel it right) but i get what ur saying. My spacing was horrible on that match lol =P

I know, my friends will say the same about me.

I want more advice like this one =)

ok i watched the DOC fight pretty closely, some thoughts on what you could do:

- The laser> shine technique didn't work on this match, cause he kept hitting you with something, you can try some laser to sidestepping, or to grab, cause the doc was very defensive at some points in the match, you did grab him a couple of times after a laser, but you could have just done this alot to win faster, cause all he did vs the lasers was guard.

- You could have just waited at one point to smash him, cause he rolled alot near the edge, down smash works good in these occasions so you can step him off for some lasering

- you were inclined alot to pillar or a random jab> fsmash, lasering, and repeating, anyone can read this typical falco movement, i didnt see much good grabbing, mostly shieldgrabbing. but this is pretty typical too..

just some thoughts to throw out there, pretty random, i dont know how to critique anyways...

good luck...

*edit*: omg i forgot, you didnt Upb to attack in this match xD...

I feel like grabbing can be risky even if JC'd a sidestep> anything can counter. But I get what you're saying, I'll try to abuse grab after laser more than pillaring stuff or at least be balanced in doing both of those techniques.

But meh, he always complains when I grab (thats the reason i dont grab too much), he says it's gay.. meh.... scrub...
