Ally Combo

If you watch the newest videos of ally you often see him making one thing.
Lying a dsmash at the edge.
Throwing the opponent in it with a grab.
The opponent gets blow up, ally jumps and mostly nairs him.

I think we should call it the ally combo. =)

too bad that type of setup is obvious as the opponent knows to run and blow it up fast while invincible

He used it against top players like noj.

Glide Attack to Nair is obvious, too, but the opponents get hit by it and its called M2K Combo.

he has a lot of different ways to set it up . F-tilt to the down smash then he goes for an up air only one I can remember right now

Come on, this is just a set up for obvious things in certain situations. It's not a combo because it's only possible at certain moment (very specific).

not specific . You make them go to the mine , ally is good at making that happen

its not liek snakes throws dont have decent distance to them either, you dont have to be all that far from a mine to make this happen

the ken combo was only two moves the you could use offstage as a kill, how is this any different?

Something I do is place a mine at one side of the stage, snake dash to the other side, when they come ack invincible and while running to the mine, i simply set up a new one. They cant reach this mine in time while there invinincbale unless there like sonic lol.

No. Get out. Yes, noobs try to use mine liberally, until they find it's extremely useful, and not because they see "The Ally Combo".

This is clearly Ally combo. He invented it, and uses it to dominate. It worked on NoJ, and it will most likely work on many other players of that calibur. Its so creative...

And plus...lets say you do go and kill the mine in invincibility frames - congrats you've just wasted invincibility.

Actually, Ken combo was pretty new and creative. Ken got the idea from Smash 64 using Falcon's Fair and then Dair. Just so happens it translated very well into Melee.

Anyways, threads like this are pointless guys. There's no need to make a thread saying "Let's call this combo ALLY COMBO!" Like, what's the point?

Not to mention, we have a THREAD DEDICATED TO ALLY'S GREATNESS. Post all of your Ally love in there from now on please.
