Sure it is.
Why drive far (for me it is, and even for Kai up north it is, etc.) for just one small event? Every tournament has doubles and it's a very popular event in this area. A lot of people often don't even enter singles (me and blackanese, for instance).

I know I don't give a **** about doubles, I know Kai doesn't give a **** about doubles. Kai would come down to AllinOne just to hang with me and Orion for a few hours.
There's a lot more to Smash than just the money for the grand majority of the community.

Pretty much what Cy said. Although doubles is nice because it extends the time we all get to hang out with each other, Orion, Cy, and I went mainly to hang out with each other. Smash was just a reason to meet up.
If I had spare time I'd go to gamingworld, but due to how often I have work and school the little time I have isn't worth the drive atm.

We currently dont have doubles formally scheduled. We want to get a feel for what the players want out of doubles events (entry fees, payouts etc)
We will be putting doubles on the posted schedule soon. Once the singles events build up we can start to edit the schedule.
