Honestly the choices for the Assist trophies are better than the actual newcomers. I'd pick Ashley, Isabelle, Lyn, Knuckle Joe, Saki, and Starfy as characters I'd like to play as. Of course I can't main 7 characters so I'd just pick Knuckle Joe. Secondary would be Starfy or Saki.
