A lot of the times I won't DI sheiks down throw simply because taking the upsmash which will always happen is better then getting chain grabbed.

I'm actually moderately certain that slight DI behind means you can jump away from sheik usmash

you'll still probably eat an aerial but that's very acceptable at low percentages, especially since she's not guaranteed a followup after that

I'd try to get some videos up against a skilled sheik but those are in rocky mount and I'm not going to do a 3 hour drive for some friendlies...

I just started using marth myself aside from my mains IC's and i thought that ur's did fairly well seeing how ur opponent is a shiek. To me though its just a bad match-up i would change char.

I've been using marth for a year lol. I've been playing for about a year and a half now. >__>;

I'm not changing because of one match up, its one match up I see no point. <_< besides my falco is basic enough that if my marth is ever off I can just go falco and be lazy.

Marth can handle sheik..its hard and tedious but possible, you've got the right outlook.
