Ive seen many posts on grenading but I havent seen much detail on grenading while being in the air.


What are the different things u can do with nades in the air?
What are the different strategies? Like throwing nades at edgegaurders?

Can you weak, normal, hard throw nades in the air?

Is it possible to drop nades while in the air? (like shield dropping)

You can shield drop nades in the air through the z button.

I have also seen force dropping of the nades off your opponent, can we do that in the air?

I'm kinda lazy to explain the many possibilities involving 'nades, but I can tell you how to get some strats =P. Go to youtube and type in "Psycho ******".....XD. Or something along the lines of "SSBB Snake". Or you can wait for Psycho ******, a bit rusty, or Jeff Highwind to go into detail......not my lazy ***

Depends on what you mean by weak, normal, hard. Is this with, or without dropping the grenade (by shielding)? If it's without then yes you can. If it's with then I believe you can also do it. But the trajectories would be different.

Second question, also deals with whether you shield dropped it to begin with. The answer is alot. You could shield drop grenade, pickup and do aerial moves, or even do aerial moves in the air to pick up the grenade.

The different strategies are scattered across the board here, way to many to list.

No you can't shield drop grenades in the air through air dodges if I recall.

No you cannot force your opponent to drop your first grenade, cause you need to be on the ground to shield or spot dodge to cause the second grenade to drop.

because ive seen psycho ****** do a few things.. but he was above the screen and you cant tell how he did it...

but mainly what i meant to ask was strategies in the air with nades...

doh bartender beat me to the Z-drop thing. Works just like an item.

I do have some recorded..actually plently....however I can only use my camcorder to transfer...so they are like no where near capture card quality, haha.

You can shield drop nades in the air through the z button.

I want to mention this only works if you've already dropped and Nade and picked it back up. It doesn't work during the standard nade hold.
