against Meta Knight?

My friend mains many people and one that gives me extreme trouble is MK.

His MK is extremely vicious and I've tried various strategies against him.
One hint he gave me is that im being too predictable, but nevertheless, I've tried:

Extreme offense (MK outspeeds me)
Evasive action (MK moves a little to fast for that)
Defensive mode (My friend reads my moves and sees whats coming so he counters me)

I'm not at all saying he's better than me, it's just that his MK gives me the most trouble of all his characters.

With that being said, what are some efficient techniques, tactics, and strategies to counter MK?

Metaknight and Falco are both of my mains. If I had to choose I would say Meta has the advantage, but falco isn't helpless. Falco could keep Meta away and match him in the air.

Hmm....

Suprisingly, I've never really used Aerial combat as one of my tactics... -__-
