Smash 3DS After playing the game for an unhealthy amount of hours, how are your Circle Pads?

You've played this game for a long time.
You are learning the intricacies of the characters that you are playing as, using advanced techniques, playing a ton of matches in For Glory, and so on.
Of course, all of this seems to be very taxing to your Circle Pad. I've heard horror stories of how player's Circle Pads are broken and now tell me, how are your Circle Pads?

Personally... my Circle Pad is kinda alright. It's still usable, but the cover to it is now a bit broken. It's not ripped, but the cover sometimes comes off during a fight.

My pad is bloody. Actually, it gets bloody about once a month. It's a real nuisance really. I bet boys don't have to deal with this.

Mine gets stuck whenever I start playing it

I have to wiggle it around a bit before playing to make it responsive.

There's probably some muck under there that needs cleaning

Yes.

I've played this game repeatedly for long periods of time and my circle pad has no visible damage nor have I felt any when using it. I've been pretty careful not to go overboard when playing the game in order to minimize any possibility of breakage. I maintain that the people who have broken it have poor control over controlling the amount of strength they exert or have a system that had minor issues beforehand as the circle pad has proven to be sturdy enough.

My circle pad tends to stick a little bit more than it used to. My entire 3DS seems to have slightly worsened in condition since i began to play Sm4sh now that I think of it.

I just don't think the 3ds was built to handle the hype of Super Smash Bros. 482

I never lend my 3DS to anyone for this very reason. I always think that I will snap the circle pad with a smash or a dash.

I'm paranoid of it also, but truth be told mine's mostly fine still. I've noticed the spring (?) that's responsible for reverting the pad from the left to centre is looser than the opposite side, but the responsiveness is still fine, and it does go back to centre.

Mine's the same as it was before. Still works perfectly, though my hands do tend to get sore after a while.

Mine works perfectly fine. However, I don't try to mash out of grabs like a maniac like I would if I had a gamecube controller.

I handle the circle pad with a delicate touch. Need to keep it pristine for Monster Hunter 4.

My pad is fine, Smash is probably the only game I use the control pad for, every other game I play with the D-pad.

Mine's how it was when I got it. I don't slam the circle pad like I do with the GameCube controller.

Mine looks and feels normally, but I'm worried that it might be a little more loose. I just got my new 3DS and am kinda afraid from already destroying it....

I've been playing Smash Bros. 3DS for over 120 hours now and I haven't noticed a difference with how my Circle Pad feels or works between when I first started playing the game on October 3rd till now. Basically, mine still works perfectly and I have zero problems with it.

Mine's still good. I get a bit paranoid myself too sometimes, probably just because I value my gaming equipment very highly, but it's still perfectly normal.

I take a lot of care with it, and it pushes himself to some direction sometimes, but that was already happening before I start to play...
It's not much different

I tend to avoid doing any adcancel techs to keep it intact.

I handle the circle pad with a delicate touch. Need to keep it pristine for Monster Hunter 4.
I'll be getting a New 3DS once it comes out in the US. But I gotta keep my current device intact so that I can give it to my sister. She loves playing Mario Kart.

Well the soft part is kinda peeling off. But really it's been that way since before I got Smash. 728 hours of New Leaf does that I guess.

On the topic of circle pads, have you noticed how some have a healthy amount of resistance and others just move almost too easily. For example, I bought a New Leaf special edition one when it came out, and the circle pad has always required a little bit of force to move. My fiance just bought a 3DS XL when SSB4 came out, and I can hardly play on the thing because the circle pad moves SO easily; it feels like I have little control over it. Why did they make them so differently? Is that just how the new ones are being made now? They seem like they'd be easier to break.

Mine is fine, but the little plastic cover sometimes pops off. When that distracts me in a match it's just annoying. :(

Mine now sinks in if I push on it (pretty much impossible not to do) and gets really stiff and hard to move. I can pop it back up with a stylus but if it happens mid match it kind of sucks.

120ish hours clocked. Circle Pad still is 100% functional, as if it was new.

I've played quite the hours and my Circle Pad is still in great condition. I think...

Mine is kinda skewed. If im holding to the left it likes to think im holding to the left and slightly down. Really screws up my Lucario recovery when i expect to go straight sideways and i go at like a 15 degree down and dive under the stage >.<

As far as I know, my Circle Pad is just as good as perfect. Maybe I like using it as delicately as I can?

It turned into a Circle Square. Don't ask.

The grey rubber placed on the circle pad falls off time after time.
I've always used my consoles with care, specially this one.
So I'm pretty sure it was one of my stupid friends who get too hyped and treat my console as if it was their GF's ****
