Action-Adventure MMOs anyone?

Sure you've all been playing WoW... -yawn- But are actually having fun? I mean its kinda monotonous right? Don't you wish your MMOs were more like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden?

Well wish no longer!

I'm sure some of you are unfamiliar with a few of the new MMOs that are coming out, so i'm to inform you. As everyone should play these!

I wish MMOs had better communities. I mean, if I played an MMO i'd love to make long lasting relationships with friends and have fun with friends at all times while playing!

No offense to americans or canadians, but Koreans make the best MMOs. American/European/Canadian/most other countries usually produce..not so good MMOs(Warhammer, Age of Conan, etc etc)

Guild Wars:Factions was okay for about 10 minutes, then you get sick of it.

Of course... it isn't really a traditonal MMO in any way... but... it's a badass and extremely technically inclined 3PS/Close Combat game. It's worth mentioning in any thread about good, free games online.

Oh, and a sure fire way to get this post some attention...

Nah seriously though Gunz is pretty cool.

I'm not too fond of Pay-to-play MMOs.
I firmly believe all MMOs should be F2P rather than P2P and servers will get paid for by how many people play them and buy premiums. Like what Mabinogi does is pure genius. The entire game is free to play, but if you want to do the main story quests then you gotta pay that $10 a month. Along with that you get some pretty sweet items and stuff. But if you don't feel like paying, they won't lock your account. You can still casually play the game and enjoy it.
This is the prime reason why I dislike Final Fantasy XI, WoW, and many other P2P MMOs. Unless the game is worth paying for of course(hmm..maybe Aion..)

Game is free, but if you want cool items, various in-game options, and more quests, you need to register.

i always thought classic EQ was a great game. i also enjoyed FFXI when i played. Perfect World was fun and unique to mess around with. if i were to get back into MMOs now, i would want to play FFXI and Blade and Soul, as that game looks nothing short of amazing.

on a side note, when i look back, i've tried so many MMOs...

Dont know about you guys, but Lineage 2 private servers are the ****. Lots of fast paced pvp/pk action and just having the feeling of someone coming to pk you since you're exping or farming in their spot is heartwarming.

Mabinogi is by far one of the best Player vs Event games i've ever played.
The battle system is GOOD and actually requires skill. Your party just can't gang up on one baddie..that actually will get you all killed. lol. You usually have to be very good at 1v1 battles to kill monsters.
Its like rock paper scissors with skill. Gotta know when to defend, attack, use magic,counter and windmill(imagine Sheik downsmash and hits everything around you).
its crazy fun. everyone should try it out.
