About Dancing Blade...

When I was playing SSBB with my bro I had pulled off dancing blade and on the third hit I pressed down B and it did a meteor smash! I later tested it a bit more and after looking for a spot that it would meteor I had found it:

It meteors when your opponent is above you.

I'm sorry that I can't post a vid of it, I have no camera. I'm trying to find a way to do it now. So try it out.

above? the third hit is a downward sort of stab. I believe it spikes if you tip using it so i'm not sure if it works with above. Hope you get a vid of it up soon.

I could get the meteor with this move in melee.. nice to know it is back.. will have to figure out if it is the opponent above.. or just the tip.. or both.

I'll do some more testing with this, but as I've said in other threads about this, I haven't been able to meteor smash once. However, I've never tried it while the opponent was ABOVE me...Very interesting.
The third hit of the dancing blade steps forward. When you say above you, do you mean the top of the blade since it's facing downward, or do you mean marth's head level? Be more precise if you can, it'll help with the testing. After we find out exactly where it meteors, it might be possible to determine a use for this(let's hope so)(although the dair is hard enough to do and this sounds like it'll be even HARDER though flashier >>)

Really, does it also hit(spike) when your opponent is down under you too?

It works really well if you perform the move in the air, like when an opponent is recovering.

You are right wazgood, but the spike in melee worked no matter where you hit with it. This one in brawl is picky.
