man the music.

is this really what people listen to these days

EDIT: okay not to make this useless i'll help you.

First off, why the **** are you even walking instead of running. You're not moving nearly enough. All you do is stay in shield or short hop a nair. What was the full hop fair about?

you got some technical stuff down when there's no opponent, but when i see you fighting, you look like a sitting duck, waiting for him to attack.
you didnt use shine, or up-tilt. up-tilt destroys falcon.

you always jumped on a platform with a nair when he was on there, but a dair would have been a much better option.
i see you do a ****load of full hop nairs where there should have been short hop nairs. were they mess-ups?

okay later on you have technical **** that you do on your opponent (waveshining). i think technically you're fine, but you really have to work on actually reading your opponent, you looked like you were playing auto-pilot. don't get into that state.

also, more grabs to gay on falcon

You need to work on your move choice. A lot of times you could have done something better but it seems like you just stick to the nair most of the time. I think you used the dair like twice the entire match when that should be your bread and butter (or honey, i dont judge).

You also just randomly threw out moves for no reason. Its leaving you vulnerable. Thats like brawl tactics.

Also, i dont think you grabbed him once the entire match. Up-throw is the sechs.

I've never watched a video before, that made me mad, until I watch this.

I counted 1 grab. You had amillion options to grab him. the waveshines are nice, lasers are nice...but when you have 3 stock...and they have 1....idk maybe thats just me.
I have no idea what you were doing. stop throwing out attacks. You throw out attacks, then run away and laser, and your not even trying to space your attacks, or bait.

I don't think you really need that much move variety when playing vs Falcon ... Nair is really good ~_~
That said you don't fastfall a lot / miss Lcancels so your Fox is slow. It's hard to judge decision making when the basic tech skill isn't there.

Waveshine combos don't really require decisions on your part so there's nothing to really critique there other than possibly trying to go for grabs instead of Usmashes because they can lead to good techchasing opportunities.

@ Metal Reeper

Why would you be mad at a random inexperienced Fox video ~_~

My advice is work on speeding up your aerials and just keeping at eye out for when you can dashdance grab ... try playing with the intent to get dashdance grabs and see if that helps your grab game. Once you start getting the grabs you can work on punishment.

I don't know if it's just me, but when I'm about to die because i'm at something like 130%, I play a little more recklessly.
You're going to die anyway, so get what damage you can. Playing safe like you did at the end of your stock just doesn't seem productive. You only got 8% before he killed you.

I don't see why you'd change the way you play just because you're at high %. The only thing I try to change about my play style at high % is my willingness to trade stocks.

Recklessness is almost never a good thing in this game IMO ~_~

I only do it because I'm going to die either way. Most of the time people play with the famous "don't get hit" mentality, but when I'm at a ridiculously high %, get in as much damage as I can before I die, so I play nearly all aggression (obviously, I still don't want to die, but it's not as big a priority.)

Playing reckless basically means playing stupid, which means your opponent basically gets a free stock.

I don't think there's much you should be altering when you're at high % ... don't play scared and not take opportunities that arise because you're afraid you'll mess up, but definitely don't just jump at everything you possibly can ~_~ that gets you *****

not
"I know he's going to use counter, but let's attack anyway" stupid, more of "This combo will kill us both, but I'll die anyway, so let's do it." You don't stop thinking, but dying is ok now.

When I'm at a high percents, I run away and laser laser laser to get dem cents bfor aye ddye

That being said, a high percent to do that get's lower every stock...

Edit: I figure that if I get a character to X percent before I die when I'm doing that, I'm good for the next stock, taking a stock is amazing.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Unknown summed it up with that one sentence. For the sacrifices you're making in speed, you should be hitting more of your moves. FH nairs are tempting, but you have got to stay away from just doing things for no reason.

You can't control Falcon's volatility and randomness, nor can you control the decisions he makes. What you can control is how you react to it. Learn to use Fox's speed to bait, without committing to lag. Making the first move isn't always your job. Remember that!

Take this approach with you in different match-ups, and you'll be sure to see its benefits.
