I have an amusing story to share with everyone.
You see, there was once a thread on Smashboards where fans of Metroid's Ridley character gathered to discuss the Space Pirate Dragon Thing's chances of getting into Brawl. It was a peaceful thread for a while, but eventually a group of morons calling themselves "R.I.D.L.E.Y." (some ******** acronym, don't make me write it out) starting spamming the thread to hell.
So the moderators got mad and closed the thread, allowing the Ridley geeks to create a new one after promising to behave. But stupidity begets stupidity and it wasn't long before the second thread was a cesspool of spam and ***********.
History repeats and the thread is closed. A new thread is born, and quickly dies. It takes less than 4 hours for the R.I.D.L.E.Y. geniuses to start another flame war. The thread is closed and it is proclaimed that no Ridley threads will be allowed on Smashboards. Ever.
Sanity reigns again.
Except the R.I.D.L.E.Y. children decide to take their fanclub elsewhere and plot their revenge on Smashboards and its cruel, malicious staff (lol). Their plan is overwhelming in its stupidity:
It wasn't an absolutely moronic idea until one of the Geno supporters found their little website and blew the whistle. So I, being a fan of Internet drama, went over to check it out. What I found was an enormous fight between R.I.D.L.E.Y.'s prepubescent imbeciles over the "leak" and who was to blame for letting in a "spy" from Smashboards (apparantly it was "Colb"'s fault -- this will be important later.) I registered a few joke names and spammed their chat room a little until the owner absolutely flipped out and deleted the entire forum and its user accounts.
Game over, right?
Nope! Silly child, you just deleted all the records of your legitimate users! Why, anyone could swoop in and register an account using a name they found, say, on a certain image posted on a certain other forum containing names of some of your more prominent members. And how would you know the account was an imposter amid the turbulence you just created by wiping your entire base of operations?
So that's what I did. I took the named "Wreked" after one of their genius leaders and set to the task of convincing their admin I was the read deal. I sadly did not take screenshots during this phase... but rest assured it was easier than it sounds. Just check up on Wreked's posting history, notice he has fairly good grammar and spelling, and away we go. It wasn't long before I was PMed the password to their Uber Super Duper Secret Forum, nicknamed "Sector R".
Piece of cake! Too bad the real Wreked had to come along and ruin my fun. He registered the name "PyroMoon" (NOTICE A RECENT GENO SUPPORTER WITH THIS NAME???) and said he couldn't access his Wreked account. I called him an imposter! Falco&Victory asked a question only the real Wreked could know: "who was it that started all this"; in other words, what R.I.D.L.E.Y. member let in the SWF "spy"? Astute readers will remember the answer from before: "It was colb", I replied, and BAM, PyroMoon is banned.
Yessss!
He came back, though, with "IamWreked" (a truly inspired name) and begged for "Falcon" to give him another chance.
Too bad Falco&Victory took offense to his name being misspelled! But IamWreked is determined to get his name back. He offers up a tasty morsel, something that truly only he would know:
Yes, he admits to creating a new user (in violation of Smashboards policy) to join the Geno group in preparation of their glorious coup d'état. Geno fans beware!
Things are clearly looking dire for me. So I stall until they all go to bed, leaving me alone to construct this evidence of their stupidity. Given this opportunity, there was only one thing to do:
I earlier punted on tell you the meaning behind the acronym "R.I.D.L.E.Y.". I'd like to share it now, though it should be fairly obvious:

Lurking

NOTE: I am not affiliated with Smashboards, the Geno fans, or the Ashely fans, in any way or form, so please do not take out your angst on them. I just saw an amusing opportunity and took it. I did not permanently damage the R.I.D.L.E.Y. community and wish them the best of luck in finding a forum dumb enough to accept them.

- "Infiltrate" the "rival" groups supporting Geno and Ashley and earn their trust
- OVERWHELM AND CRUSH THE INFIDELS IN A WAVE OF BEAUTIFUL RIDLEY SPAM, CAUSING THEIR THREADS TO BE CLOSED AND DRAGGING THEM DOWN TO THE PITS OF HELL ALONG WITH US.
- ???
- Profit?
