The first one doesn't actually look like it's a setup, but rather perhaps that you're gunning for the invincibility frames on the edge or some such. Trixy.

Some of the first stuff I tried when I got brawl was bomb-edgeguarding, and through that I developed (and later gave up on) the second setup. Maybe I should go back and give it another try.

The dash attack one is really sexy.

Kewl stuff. With the dash attack one, just to make sure is it necessary to hit a shield to move off the ledge? Because I've tried using the dash attack kind of as an edge guard, but I just end up stopping on the ledge.

Yeah if you don't hit the shield you'll stay stuck on the ground.

On another note the first two work vs shields as well. I should have included that in the vid. Same principle, bomb pushes them off level and you dair them :p

I think the third one has the most popularity, Rohins. You were very impressive with that move. I agree with Paradigm. It is sexy.

I got bored and recorded a few dair setups. The bomb ones register as a combo in training mode. Not laying claim, just sharing the love in case you guys didn't know about them.

Good stuff as usually and sharing is caring keep up the good work :chuckle:. If tap jump is on when your in shield flick up and immediately down on c-stick for instant dair. I have found doing that useful in certain situations as with anyone of these don't get to predictable.

the fact that you are basically capitalizing on their tumble animation is why i feel this is viable. we have all hit people while they are tumbling so we know it can be effective in a real match, so a spike to take a stock is even better. good **** Rohins.

Very nice, but since when is the opponent going to stand still near the ledge for you to do this?
No opponent is going to sit there and "let" you do it. You have to pressure someone into the situation, like most techniques. I'm not suggesting you try to force this on people. If you can read someone and know they are going to shield, or do a slow getup attack, use this. If you can't figure out a way to incorporate it, don't bother. I'm just pointing out that it sets up.
