I want the ability to check out a player's profile, which would ideally include information such as their top three played characters and the top 5 replays of their choice.

I'd like to have something in SSBU that gives us more personal flair, since I feel like we lack that right now...

That'd be pretty cool. It'd also be cool to see things like "favorite stage/trophy/song" and their Global Smash Power and stuff.

It'd be a nice little option to have. Nothing special. Click on one of your friend's names, and boom. Nice idea~

SmashBook, Tripper, Instasmash, Smash+, MySpacing, SmashJournal, LockedIn, KOddit,, DIntetest..take your pick.

A social Smash network in-game would be pretty cool.

Nintendo has never really taken online that seriously, unfortunately.

I'm really surprised with the features we have in Smash4.

But I'd love to be able to make a profile. I always like to get a good idea of who everyone is playing as.

I'd love to have a feature like this on the Wii U version. I don't really see it happening due to Nintendo being Nintendo, but we can wish, can't we? That being said, Nintendo has been making some pretty big strides with online and the modes in Smash 4 by the looks of things. This is a great sign for things to come in the future as they expand further and experiment more.

Would be cool. Then I could judge at a glance whether an opponent was going to use Sheik or not, and leave before the round starts!

Much as I like profiles of this sort, I honestly feel like they'd do more harm than good.

Ain't that the truth...

Now that they're slowly sobering to the notion that online play isn't just a passing fad (like the Wii was, heh...), we're at least seeing some better choices for modes in their games.

Also, we at least know that they're collecting data and doing things like balancing the game. Hell, the whole "Conquest" thing is just an excuse to get people to play more matches so that they can analyze matchup data, I'd guess...
