I've been wanting to start up a shop for a while now to hone my signature making skills. I'm in school (which is a ton of work right now) but I want something more productive to do with my free time (when I'm not smashing).

A few rules:

1) Follow all Smashboards rules.
2) Credit me when you are using my creations.
3) Provide me with a link of the image (or images) you want used.
4) Please don't ask for progress as it's rude and I have other things to do.
5) I only take 3 request at a time.
6) Place the word "smithy" at the beginning of your request or I will reject it (so I know you read the rules).
7) You may request again but only once 2 weeks have past.
8) Use the forms when requesting.
9) Please try to keep it to 1 or 2 images.
10) Try to find high quality renders of the pictures you want. I suggest searching on http://planetrenders.net
11) PLEASE use proper English (or the best you can). No 1337 speak or texting lingo. Requests made with these will be automatically rejected.
12) If I see the same request for a sig in another shop, I will reject it. No questions asked.

Ill start you off, I actually made an avatar request in ODIN's shop, but then realized hes taking a bit of a break and since I aint sure when hes gonna remake stuff, Im curious if you can help me. My request is the 2nd last post in his shop, Ill delete it once you finish the job (plus I can only use a Wii to communicate atm, so its very hard for me to reget all the links). Its been about 6 days, so rather than annoying him to do it or waiting an unknown amount of time, thats why Ive come here =p

Its baseball related. They involve several pictures (3-5 prolly) of several baseball players in motion along wih a few logos (2-3) within. The banner is pretty big, I'm thinking 1000x700 pixels. You think you could do that if I showed you the images?

Would how long would it take you to make a logo like this but with the words "New York" (in the same style of the road uniform the Yankees wear) with several renders inside?

I'm currently trying to find the render of the logo I'm talking about but I'm having some difficulty, would it be asking for too much if I asked you to make a makeshift logo?

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, this is a big deal and I need the banner in about a week and half at the most. Sorry for being so demanding.

As I want, I want these pictures in the text with all the pictures having a "drawn" kinda of effect on them.

So you want the pictures you just posted inside the text and the other logo under it and the extra text under that with a pinstriped background?

Just trying to make sure I've got everything straight before I start.

I'd like the text to the side of the 2 interlocking logos preferbly the left but you can do whatever you want with that aspect of the sig. Background is pretty spot on, add some special effects to it though.

Just an example to get my thoughts clear.

That would work beautifully. Just don't make the background too noisy or make the text more prominent. Just don't forget to remove the watermark in the "NY" logo.

Oh and to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, could you save a seperate copy of the background you plan to use for the banner? I figured I might as well use that for the background of my website instead of having somebody else make me a background. Just make it 1400x1000. Only if you can. Thanks!
