At March, 11, 11 there had been a 8.9 earthquake which struck Japan. The earthquake was followed by dozens of aftershocks, as well as a tsunami.
It's really sad that some people would go far enough to say, "Oh, no, earthquake in Japan! are the makers of Brawl and Anime okay?".
